DW/Edit - Statistics Module

In the older sites created using DW/Edit, we implemented our own statistics module, which kept track of the performance of the websites.
Since Deltaworks knew that it was important to track visitors and page views, we build this specially for DW/Edit. Other statitic software wasn't able to track on the specifics we wanted to know.

Statistics are not just for tracking how many visitors see your website, another very important aspect is to know how visitors find your website. This is what we call referer tracking and have build in our statistics module as well.

Using the statistics module we could track which keywords where best used for search engine optimization, a key factor for succesful websites.

Current Statistics in DW/Edit

Currently we are no longer using the DW/Edit statistics module, since Google Analytics (since 2007) gave better, faster and more accurate results. Since then, we integrate all new websites with the powerfull Google Analytics code.

This allows us to track the language, location, duration of all visitors and much more.
